The irrigation project is now two-thirds complete with hole 2 joining holes 1 and 9 in being completed on the front 9. As hole 2 was finished today it means that again we are fortunate to have the normal 18 hole course in play for the weekend.

Hole 3 will be the next hole closed from Monday morning (August 1) however the plans for which holes are next are going to be dependant on the weather as the forecast does not look good for Monday and Tuesday and heavy rain makes it difficult for the installers to work on the mainlines.

The pitching green remains out of play for members during the round or for practice however is not needed with the closure of only one hole.
