Dear Members ,
The next stage of the greens replacement project will be starting this Monday the 19th of September. The 9th will be the first of five greens to be replaced. Due to the layout of the hole a temporary green on the 9th is not possible. This will mean the 8th hole will be split into 8a and 8b while the 9th hole is closed.
While holes/greens are closed we will be making use of the time to carry out planned tree works that would ordinarily not be possible due to the risk of damaging greens and surrounds.
We are expecting the works on each green to take 4-5 working days to complete. The aim is to have each green back in play after between 4-6 weeks. Each green will be monitored individually due to different conditions during the grow in period.
The course staff and I are looking forward to this project as it’s been on the club’s agenda for many years, and we take great pride in making it a big success.
