The new greens construction has begun with holes 9 and 12 being worked on first. The 9th green shape will be finished and ready for turfing on Thursday the 22nd of September however, due to the addition of a public holiday the 9th green won’t be turfed until after the long weekend on Tuesday the 27th of September.
The next green to be done will be the 13th hole, which will come out of play on Friday the 23rd of September. The 12th green shaping will be finished and ready for turfing on Thursday the 29th of September.
During this period with greens being out of play, temporary couch greens will be used on holes 10, 12 and 13 with spare holes on the 8th and pitching area in play when 9 and 11 are out of play respectively to keep the full 18 holes in play.
