Have a daughter or grand daughter interested in learning golf?
MGGC has been successful again this year in receiving an Australian Golf Foundation grant for junior girls from 10-14* years, with 24 lessons to be provided in 2023 from our Club professional team.
So, we thought why not canvas our members and gauge whether there are any youngsters out there that may be interested in being considered for our Club’s Junior Girls’ Scholarships.
We already have three girls who missed out in 2022 but have a few places to fill over the next few weeks. Lessons will be held during the four school terms next year commencing after school resumes in February 2023.
The Scholarship grant not only includes tuition, but those selected in the squad receive a free MGGC one-year junior membership, Golflink card and an AGF shirt and cap.
If interested, could you please provide the General Manager with the name of the girl being recommended, her date of birth, parents’ names and their mobile and email address and whether the nominated person has any previous golf experience.
*Exceptions do apply for girls 7-9 if they have displayed capabilities in sport
