Our Men’s Pennants players bounced back strongly this weekend with a 4/3 win over The Vines Golf Club at Mandurah Country Club.
We had good strong wins from Lennon Thurtell, Ethan Lim and Paul Oliver but the hero of the day was certainly Andy Gregory who came back from 3 down with 4 to play to win the 18th hole to square his match. Great effort Andy! That ensured a 3.5/3.5 situation. Tavis Whitcher clinched the win when he squared the 18th. A special mentioned to Ethan Abraham who played the whole round with a serious ankle injury which obviously hampered his performance. Although you kicked 8 goals, not a good idea to play football on the Saturday prior to a pennant match so well-done Ethan!
