Work is well underway on stage 2 of the greens replacement project with the contractors working quickly in the early stages. The old greens on holes 14 and 16 have been stripped with the new soil profile and shaping completed on hole 14 and very close to being finished on hole 16.
With the contractors working faster than anticipated they will be progressing onto holes 17 and 15 tomorrow. This means that the temporary greens will be brought into play on these holes from the beginning of play on Thursday 21st September. A new course for handicapping purposes has been established and member playing handicaps will be updated automatically on scorecards and in the MiScore app.
With the current works being completed quickly we anticipate that work on the final two greens (holes 18 and 7) will begin the middle of next week, with the temporary greens coming into play. Members will be advised when this will be occurring.
We would ask that members follow any directional signage on course as the paths have been chosen to direct members away from the construction areas and equipment.
