Dear Members,
Regretfully I must advise that Club Captain, Mike Petkovich, has provided the Board his immediate resignation as a Board Director of MGGC. Mike has been Captain since 2022 and was re-elected unopposed at the 2024 AGM. I am sure members will join me in thanking Mike for his passion, time and effort given to fulfilling his role as Captain and Board Director.
Pursuant to clause 3.17 of the Club’s Constitution the position may be filled by the Board as a Casual Vacancy for the remaining term of office (through to the AGM in 2026). The Board will consider the best way ahead and the Members will be advised in due course.
