The resurfacing of the northern putting green is taking shape and members will notice that it is looking much bigger than before.
We are taking the opportunity while it exists to add more surface area to the green which will enable us to spread the wear across the putting greens once it is ready to be brought back into play. With the additional size there will be a requirement to utilise additional turf taken from the practice pitching green to completely resurface the larger putting green.
This will likely lead to the pitching green being removed from play over coming weeks to enable course staff to remove the turf and reseed it. When it is taken out of play the pin will be placed in the hollow to allow for a target to chip towards for members wishing to do so.
