It is with sadness that we advise members that member Luke Cannell has passed away after a 4-year battle with illness. Luke passed away peacefully, while on a family holiday down in Denmark, on the 4th March. Luke was 27.
Luke joined the Club in 2021 alongside father Wayne and younger brother Sam and played together regularly during the Sunday competition.
Luke’s funeral will be held at Fremantle Cemetery on Thursday 14th March at 12.15pm, with the Wake to be held at MGGC at 3pm the same day.
The family invite all Melville Glades members who knew and played with Luke to join them in celebrating his life.
