Course staff were hard at work this week completing the returfing on the now much bigger putting green near the 10th tee. During the first few weeks this will need more regular watering during the day so sprinklers will be on at approximately 2pm each day.
Unfortunately the team had to use more additional turf from the pitching green than was hoped and this is now unusable for practice. Course staff will be preparing an area near the pitching green and placing some pin flags as targets so this area can still be used for chipping practice while the chipping green is only usable for putting.
The pitching green will now be reseeded at the same time as the expanded nursery next to the 2nd tee box and will be out of play for several weeks.
