It was very disturbing while recently on the course, that one of our Match Committee members came across a situation where a player had lined up and played
6 – 8 balls onto the green, from about 90 metres out on the 12th fairway. To their credit all the divots had been sanded, but we remind you that “the course is not a practice fairway.” If you want to hit so many shots, then we have the facilities for that to happen.
It is clearly signed around the tees that only a maximum of two balls are to be when having a practice round. Please abide by this ruling.
