On Monday 27/5 we had a fantastic victory against Mount Lawley at Royal Perth Golf Club.
Outstanding winning performances came from Rosemary Burd 7/6, Linda Mackin 6/5, Kerrin Thomas 5/3, Leanne McVey 4/3 and You Ran Han 3/1. Shirley Van Der Brugghen fought hard as our No.1 player, but bravely went down 4/3. Personally I scrambled all day, but somehow I came from behind to win 1 up on the 18th hole.
Next week both teams have a bye with the Public Holiday on Monday 3/6.
Hopefully we will all be well rested and will continue our winning form at WAGC on 10/6.
Both our hosting days have been very successful. Thank you to our starters (Andy Hird, Anne Ward,Tracy Johnson and Julie Davies) and to our kitchen and bar staff for dishing up great service and lunch of soup and sandwiches.
