Monday’s blue skies and light winds made for perfect conditions to play the Dunes and the Quarry course at Joondalup Resort Golf Club for the Division 3 Pennants match.
The course can be intimidating but our team came home with an impressive 5/1 win against Mandurah Country Club. Another outstanding 6/5 for Lynda Wake, welcome to new team member Linda Makin 2/1, Tracy Johnson 4/3, steady golfers Cheryl Collings and Chris Orr 4/2. Anne Hitchen fought hard against a 4 handicapper in the end going down 2/1.
Thanks again to our invaluable caddies for your support and for travelling the many kilometres to our matches.
Next Monday we head south to Mandurah Country Club to take on Joondalup.
