Division 1 – Anne Hitchen
On Monday 10th June we took on Lake Karrinyup at Mount Lawley Golf Club.
Once again we all played well and fought hard and came home with a 5 1/2 to 1 1/2 victory.
Leanne McVey stepped up to #1 player and finished 2 up on the 18th, with a magnificent approach shot and an impressive birdie to seal her match. We also had great wins from Shirley Van Der Brugghen 3/2, Rosemary Burd 3/1, You Ran Han 1up, and Linda Mackin 3/2. I managed to square my game on the 18th and Kerrin Thomas just missed out with a close 1 down on the 18th.
We are now sitting in 2nd place on the ladder. A win next Monday against Royal Perth Golf Club will secure us a place in the finals against Wanneroo Golf club on Monday 24th June.
