Dear Members,

The final stage of our Greens Replacement Program is nearly upon us. The greens on holes 1 to 6 will be stripped and resurfaced commencing Monday 16th September.

In readiness for those holes being taken out of play, preparation work on the temporary greens to be used on holes 1-4 & 6 will commence on Monday 29th July. Please note hole 5 will be out of play entirely and hole 8 will be played as 8A and 8B, a par 4 and a par 3. More information on resurfacing plans will follow in coming weeks.

Preparation work will involve marking the location of the greens as COMPULSORY GUR from which members must take relief utilising the marked drop zones. Over the ensuing weeks the temporary greens will be slowly mowed to a shorter length and other grooming activities will take place to provide as smooth a putting surface as possible for members during the time they will be in play.

Course staff will also commence moving clean sand from the pit on course throughout August and September, to out of play areas near each green to be replaced. These piles will be considered GUR.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to providing further information on the program as it gets underway.
