It would seem, once again, we may have unauthorised people playing social golf on our course. This has been supported by a number of reports being made by members.
Members are reminded that any invited guests must report to the Pro Shop and the appropriate green fee paid, before teeing off.
More concerning is the potential that we may have “walk-ins” coming in with no playing rights at all.
Without the benefit of a secured entry the only way to monitor this issue is for marshals to be on the course doing random bag tag checks.
If approached by a Course Marshal and asked to show your bag tag, please be respectful and remember they are only trying to protect your rights as a paying member of MGGC.
