It is with sadness that we advise members of the passing of member John Hippolite following a short battle with cancer. John joined the Club in mid-2021 and late last year shot his age. John was 91.
The Club extends its condolences to John’s wife Mary, along with the rest of his family and friends.
Update: John’s funeral is on Thursday 1st August at 2pm at Holy Family Church, 45 Thelma St, Como. Please arrive 15 minutes early. For those unable to attend a livestream link is available here. Please note the link will not be live until the day of the funeral, but online tributes can be added anytime.
John will be cremated in his golfing clothes as that is what he loved most of all. Because of this the family would like it if any attending golfers could wear their favourite golfing clothes however this is not compulsory.
The family would also like to do a golfing guard of honour for the coffin to pass through after the service. Could all golfers who wish to take part please:
- Bring an iron-type club
