Please note that our course staff will be trialling the use of a black PVC matting in an effort to assist turf growth in high traffic areas. Many of these are out of play areas at the start/end of paths however there may be occasion when the product is used in areas that may be in play.
If it should happen that your ball lies on or, golf shot is impeded by, some of this matting, it has been determined that it should be treated as an Immovable Obstruction under the Rules of Golf and free relief would be entitled in accordance with Rule 16 – Relief from Abnormal Course Conditions (Including Immovable Obstructions), Dangerous Animal Condition, Embedded Ball.
