On Wednesday 14 August 2024 we were treated to a unique but wonderful golf achievement.
Two of our remaining active playing Foundation Members, Vic Voykovich and George Drimatis won and were runner up in our afternoon men’s PM competition.
Vic winning on 39 points and George a close runner up on 38 points. Quite extraordinary considering the inclement weather conditions on Wednesday and that both Vic and George and well into their eighties. Vic is in a rare streak of form seeing he also won last Fridays competition with a 7-up score in the Par event. Well done Vic but to our long serving members that know you very well we are concerned about what has happened to your ANCHOR. Have your lost it?
