As it was communicated in the e-news last week, course staff have been working hard to re-lay turf onto holes 1-6 and the chipping green. With these now completed it is imperative that members do their part and not play shots into any of these greens to allow the turf to establish itself. New turf takes approximately 6-weeks to establish and members will be advised when they are open for play. A good rule of thumb for all is that if no holes are cut or flags are in place, then the green is closed.
Members seeking to practice chipping should use the pitching green. As it is a smaller area members are reminded to be considerate of others by using no more than 10 balls at a time and ensure shots are not played over or towards other members.
