Dear Members,
I am excited to advise that the Club has appointed a new Golf Operations Manager to oversee all things golf at Melville Glades. Jamie Mason will join the Club commencing Thursday 14th November.
Jamie brings with him over 6-years’ experience in roles at North Shore Golf Club in Auckland as well at exclusive golf clubs Tara Iti and Te Arai Links.
Longer term members will remember that a similar role was in place from 2015 to 2019, however due to the Club’s declining membership and financial situation at the time the role was not replaced, with all tasks distributed between the Pro Shop and the office.
With Club membership having increased by over 40% in this time and the amount of golf being played having increased as a result, the addition of Jamie to the team will provide an extra focus on golfing activities at the Club.
