On Friday 20th December I played in the afternoon field and found myself in a number of bunkers. It was very disappointing to see so many foot prints not raked properly or in one bunker someone had walked in played and shot with no attempt to rake the bunker. This is very unfair on the next member who ends up in your foot print.
It is every members responsibility to rake the bunker after use. If your playing partner is not doing the right thing please politely remind them of the right way to rake the bunkers.
If we all rake our bunkers, repair pitch marks and fill our divots with sand everyone’s golfing day a MGGC will be a little bit better. Thank you for your support on this matter.
