Firstly, Merry Xmas to all our Melville Glades Members, its been fantastic seeing you all again over the last couple of days. It’s been full on out on the course, especially with big fields on Boxing Day and the 27th, you lot are golf mad. Secondly, you would have noticed over the last couple days, ‘Divot Boxes’ strategically placed nice and close to the tees on our Par 3s. I would just like to highlight our Greenskeepers Team on adding this extra touch, as it makes tidying up tee boxes easier along with minimizing extra walking on holes. Lastly, this is a timely reminder to keep taking sand out with you (and actually use it), along with taking care of our course, extra efforts are going into the Xmas/New Year period to crack down on this. These standards will be the benchmark heading into 2025, with new and fresh initiatives to follow suit.
