As we head into the hotter summer days members are reminded that course staff may be required to hand water or run sprinklers on greens for 2-3 minutes to cool down the leaf if they feel the turf is wilting and suffering heat stress.
Ideally this watering will be done following the last group of the daily competition when necessary. it will only be if the weather is extreme and the turf is suffering that staff may need to water amongst the field. Thank you for your cooperation.
