On Wednesday 15th & Saturday 18th we will be introducing the ‘Tee Box Trial’ where members can select to play off the default blue markers or challenge themselves on the black markers. You will be able to choose which markers to play off and still be in the same comp as handicap is adjusted for each marker.
The beauty of golf is we already have handicaps to equal things out. We have slope ratings for a reason, and each is different from each set of tee markers. You have great choice around how challenging you want your day of golf to be. Again, this really won’t affect your golf at all (all you need to do is select your tee), in turn it should enhance your golfing experience on any given day. This is a small steppingstone in the right direction as we align ourselves with the rest of the golfing world.
