Dear members ,
Over the last few weeks, the short cut surfaces have been sprayed with a selective herbicide to control crabgrass. This herbicide has knocked out several areas of Queensland blue grass in our fairways which you may have noticed patches, 1-2 metre in size, dying on a few holes (mainly the 2nd & 4th hole).
The winter green couch grass will grow in these areas over the next few weeks, however larger areas of turf may need to be solid turfed depending on how fast it recovers.
