Dear Members,
As members may be aware, a community case of COVID-19 has been detected in the Perth Area. The WA Government has introduced mandatory mask wearing while indoors which will come into effect at 6pm today (23rd December 2021). In addition, masks should be worn outside when social distancing cannot be practiced.
For members visiting the Club this means that masks must be worn while inside the Clubhouse (unless you qualify for an exemption for health reasons). This extends to all Clubhouse areas (Bar, Administration, Pro Shop, Members Change Rooms, Buggy Sheds).
Masks have not been mandated for outdoors, however, should you be unable to physically distance from your playing partners (i.e., when sharing a cart), a mask should be worn.
As per previous mask mandates, members are permitted to remove masks when consuming food and beverages but must replace when finished or moving around.
SAFEWA App Login’s remain important for contract tracing and all members and guests must ensure they check in when visiting the Club.
As always, Members are reminded of the importance of good personal hygiene and social distancing as further means of reducing the potential for infection and asked that in the event you may feel unwell, you stay home and seek medical advice.
