Dear Members,
A further update on the recent COVID-19 situation in the Perth area was provided earlier today (27th December 2021) with the Premier announcing an extension to the conditions announced prior to Christmas. This means that mandatory mask wearing while indoors as well as seated food and beverage service and no dancing remain in place for at least the next week. In addition, masks should be worn outside when social distancing cannot be practiced. Restrictions will now be in place until 6am Tuesday 4th January 2022.
With these restrictions in mind we will be assessing what options might be available for our planned New Years Eve event and have a decision for members by Wednesday 29th December.
For members visiting the Club this means that masks must be worn while inside the Clubhouse (unless you qualify for an exemption for health reasons). This extends to all Clubhouse areas (Bar, Administration, Pro Shop, Members Change Rooms, Buggy Sheds).
Masks have not been mandated for outdoors, however, should you be unable to physically distance from your playing partners (i.e. when sharing a cart), a mask should be worn.
As per previous mask mandates, members are permitted to remove masks when consuming food and beverages but must replace when finished or moving around.
SAFEWA App Login’s remain important for contract tracing and all members and guests must ensure they check in when visiting the Club.
As always, Members are reminded of the importance of good personal hygiene and social distancing as further means of reducing the potential for infection and ask that in the event you may feel unwell, you stay home and seek medical advice.
We thank members for their understanding with the most recent announcements.
