Dear Members,
As most of you would be aware the Premier announced yesterday that from Monday 31st January 2022 there would be expanded Proof of Vaccination (PoV) requirements taking effect. These expanded rules include all hospitality and food and licensed venues including restaurants, dine-in fast food, cafes, bars, pubs, clubs and taverns.
Community sport is something that at this stage is exempt from the PoV requirements and we have had advice from Golf WA that the sport of golf does fall into this category. As the announcement is only recent there are several questions still to be answered before the end of the month and as we get more information come to hand around some of the finer details of the restrictions, and what they mean in totality, we will of course keep members updated.
Should anyone have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the General Manager as he is receiving the most up to date information from Golf WA, that is specific for Golf Clubs, on a regular basis.
