Dear Members,
Thank you to all our members who have been at the Club this week and have been complying with the Proof of Vaccination (PoV) conditions that have been in place since Monday. As with any new process and rules there have been a few teething issues and we thank members for their patience and support of staff while we work through these and refine our processes.
Members who provided PoV to the office when initially requested to do so has certainly taken some of the pressure off staff which has been much appreciated.
You can help with this by having your PoV recorded at the office.
At this point in time we are unable to advise members of any new or updated details with regards to the mandates.
However, we must clarify one point. The gazebo and veranda to the Clubhouse are a part of the Club’s licenced area so PoV will be required to be seated or lingering in those areas.
If you are playing on a Monday and need to register for the Old Boys competition in the gazebo then the same rules apply as when you would register in the Pro Shop. If you don’t have a PoV you must pay your competition fee and leave the area.
The Board are in the process of reviewing a draft set of By-laws regarding PoV requirements and will be in a position to communicate these to members along with any further changes to operations at the Club next week.
Our priority remains the health and well being of our staff and members throughout this ever changing COVID situation..
