Dear Members,

This afternoon the Premier announced that “new public health and social measures will be introduced for regions throughout the state from 6am Monday, 21 February to help manage the surge of Omicron COVID-19 cases and keep Western Australians safe.”

Part of these new measures includes the reinstating of the 2 square metre rules as a limit on capacity at hospitality venues. This means that effective from 6am Monday, 21 February the capacity limit for the Clubhouse is 135 patrons at any one time. This rule is in addition to the current mask and Proof of Vaccination requirements at the Club.

We encourage members to familiarise themselves with the latest measures and potential further measures to be implemented in the future by reading them here: https://www.wa.gov.au/government/announcements/new-public-health-and-social-measures-monday-21-february

Given the increasing number of COVID-positive cases in the community, members should also make sure they know the new close contact, testing and isolation protocols that took effect last week. These can be found here:

Please continue to use the sanitiser stations available, wear a mask, check-in at the Club and if asked have your Proof of Vaccination ready to show. Thank you for your understanding.
