Today we have been advised that two Members have tested positive to Covid-19 after playing golf Friday afternoon, 11 March 2022. They were both in the Clubhouse from 5.00 p.m. to approximately 6.45 p.m. They left the Clubhouse after the Member’s draw.
Their playing partners have been contacted directly and are deemed as close contacts. They have been tested and both returned a negative result. The F&B staff member who checked their Proof of Vaccination in the Clubhouse has also tested negative today.
The Club is NOT deemed a Covid-19 hotspot and due to wearing face masks, the staff are not deemed as close contacts and are not required to isolate.
Unfortunately, we cannot identify everyone who may have been sitting near these two Members and can only advise all Members who were in the Clubhouse after 5.00 p.m. that day to monitor their own health. Should you feel unwell or show any symptoms, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
We appreciate that some Members may not agree with the isolation rules. However, it is important for the protection of other Member’s health that we all follow the rules as prescribed and if unwell stay away from the Club until you have fulfilled the isolation period and tested negative.
We are hoping this is an isolated incident and all Members remain healthy. However, should you feel unwell and test positive, please advise the Club administration immediately.
