Unfortunately we were once again unable to stage our qualifying round of stroke needed to establish seedings for the Matchplay playoffs. We have rescheduled for Tuesday 9th August, and still only intend to play one round of stroke. We are running out of days and do not have much room for flexibility of our fixtures, so hopefully we can complete this round.
Also coming up, we have two sponsor events, both with shotgun starts.
On August 18 we will play for the Beryl Nicholls trophy and Beryl’s daughter, Jill Penter is coming to play with us and present the trophy.
On September 1st it is our DLM’s trophy, sponsored by our own Cheryl Collings.
Make sure you come along on these days and enjoy the clubhouse atmosphere during lunch and presentations.
There have been quite a few alterations to our fixtures mostly due to weather interruptions, so we will do our best to keep you updated.
