As we approach the tail end of the irrigation installation, course staff and installers will be working closely in an attempt to continue works without causing too many disruptions to golfers. Over the course of the next few days there will be several different configurations in play as outlined below. Your assistance and cooperation over coming days will be greatly appreciated.
Tuesday 23rd August
Holes 7 and 8A will be closed for the morning women’s competition. Unfortunately the pitcher is not ready to be played which means only 17 holes will be available for the competition. Members should score hole 8A as a nett par (2 points or square) for Tuesday’s competition. Hole 7 and the full hole 8 (8A and 8B) will be closed following the women’s competition for social players.
Wednesday 24th August
Hole 8 (8A and 8B) will reopen with the mainline fully installed and trench backfilled. Hole 7 will remain closed for completion and tidy up.
Thursday 25th August
Hole 7 will reopen for play and hole 8 will close. We will continue to work with the installer as to whether works can be undertaken so that one of 8A or 8B is in play at all times but we will know more in coming days.
