The 4BBB Matchplay Competition is due to start on Tuesday 13th September and we need more teams to make it a viable competition. Please sign up ASAP so we can process a draw.
The 36 Hole Members Trophy is fixtured for Thursday 22nd November. Conditions of entry will be posted in the ladies locker-room. Entries will be via online booking sheet.
Breast Cancer Day is fixtured for Thursday 29th September. We hope to make this a fun and pink day, with special prizes available on the day. Please give generously to support this worthy cause which touches us all through family, friends and our fellow members. Entry via online booking sheet.
A reminder that the winter mud rule is no longer in place. Also as we have access to our full course, we have restarted our Eclectic Competition.
Can I also remind everyone to be conscious of your pace of play. 9 holes should be completed in no more than 2 hours and 15 minutes. If you want some hints about how to speed up play, read the information pamphlet on the backs of the doors in the ladies toilets or ask an experienced player for some tips. Please don’t be offended if you are asked to speed up, as slow play affects the whole field, not just the group behind you. We will be having a Marshal come around and observe, and she will be able to help you save some time on the course.
