Thank you to the 71 members who attended the Club’s AGM last night forming a quorum. As members would note there were no elections for Board or Committee positions so all nominees were elected unopposed last night.
Congratulations to Nigel Williams (Director of Course) and Sue Quinones (Director of Lady Members) who will be joining the Board and thank you to retiring members of the Board, Ray Hince, Ian Watson and Cheryl Collings for your efforts during your tenure.
As advised last night pursuant to Constitution Clause 3.17, any Board position that is vacated mid-term, or unfilled following an AGM, will be dealt with as a Casual Vacancy. The Board will address this at their next meeting and will call for expressions of interest and proceed as per the Constitution at subsequent Board meetings.
The two Special Resolutions proposed for approval were both approved with over 95% acceptance of those who voted.
