With the cancellation of our Individual Match Play Champs, we will be having a relatively quiet August.
August 10th is the 4th and final qualifying Stableford round for the fabulous OSKA PULSE prize. The 3 best of your 4 qualifying rounds will then be tallied with the winner to be announced and presented with their machine on September 28th (which is a Shotgun Start for our DLM Trophy Day)
August 17th is the Beryl Nichols Trophy Day. This is a stableford competition with a Shotgun start. PLEASE NOTE – 8am SHOT GUN Tee Time! Whilst our preference was for a later start, we have a Social Group booking for the afternoon that we need to accommodate. An 8 am tee start will ensure we can all comfortably complete our round. Thank you for your understanding.
August 31st will be our 3rd of the 4 Silver Anniversary qualifying rounds.
AND NOW FOR THE BIG ONE – SEPTEMBER 7TH 36 HOLE MEMBERS TROPHY
It’s now or never!
As discussed and agreed at the 2022 LAM, this event will only proceed, for 2023 and beyond, if we have sufficient interest/participation, specifically entry numbers of 24 or more. Please read the Conditions of Play and Information flyer linked to this blog.
If you will be entering the 36 Hole Members Trophy, could you please, as soon as possible, add your name to the “LIST” I have put up in the Ladies Locker Room. This will help us to sort the booking sheet to accommodate the 36, 18 and the 9 Hole players. You do not need to pay any entry fee until you register to play on the day.
The booking sheet for this event will open the usual 8 days prior, for you to book into your preferred Competition, (36, 18 or 9 holes). On Tuesday September 5th, we will check the 36 hole bookings to ensure that we have sufficient player entries to proceed. Tuesday September 5th will be the deadline for player entries and a final decision will be made!
If the interest for the 36 holes continues, then let’s get it up and going – yeehaa! Those who love it, need to support it. And of course, please do not feel under any pressure to participate, if 36 holes is not for you. We are genuinely trying to accommodate everyone and sincerely hope this can be achieved.
