Round 3 Update – Tracy Johnson
Sunshine and blue skies greeted us again for Round 3 at Mandurah Country Club.
Unfortunately, we didn’t bring home a Team win however we managed a respectable 3/3 draw. We are currently third on the ladder with 3 rounds to play.
We welcomed new pennants players to the team, Alisa Lee who had a strong 4/3 win, and Conor Smith who played her first ever came of Pennants and enjoyed the challenge. Our generous pennants sponsor Nina King never gave up and came in with a 3/1 win. Chris Orr didn’t disappoint again this week with a 1 up win. Lynda Wake with hubby David on her bag reached the 18th hole……it came down to the last putt which just missed. Regrettably I couldn’t add value to our Team score and lost 3/1.
Our post-game de-brief was filled with laughs, great camaraderie and thank you to Con Lee, Alisa’s husband for the after-game refreshments. Caddies as always you are all a very valued part of our MGGC Division 3 Pennants team.
Next Monday we travel North to Wanneroo Golf Club…………….BRING IT ON!!!!!!
