Our course will be closed for renovations from Monday 28 October through till Friday 01 November.
Male members wishing a game during the course closure, Mike Petkovich has arranged a limited number of times for our members at the Rockingham Golf Club. A time sheet will be opened on our website Wednesday 16 October at 7pm for members wishing to register their name to play on Wednesday 30 October. Times will be from approximately 12pm.
A Challenge match between Melville Glades and Rockingham has been organised and will run in conjunction with a normal stableford competition.
The Challenge match will be co-sponsored by Cannington Mazda (Dean King – MGGC member and Club sponsor) and Rockingham Mazda (Jodee Kerr). It will be known as the Mazda Zoom-Zoom Challenge Cup: Melville Glades vs Rockingham.
There will be A, B & C grade prizes awarded on the day plus nearest the pin and longest drive prizes.
Competition on the day will be stableford.
Rockingham Golf Club have been very generous, offering a green fee of $33.00. Shared Cart hire is $44.00. A compulsory competition fee of $10.00 per person will also apply.
Last year’s event was a great success and we hope we can fill all our spots again this year.
