This years’ renovation period is promising to be one our busiest yet with not only the usual annual maintenance of coring, verti-mowing and sanding of playing surfaces but will also see new paths being constructed around the Clubhouse and the beginning of the men’s locker room renovations.
Tasks during the week will include the clearing of cores, stacking of pavers, reinstatement of turf and clearing of rough areas.
As the old saying goes – many hands make light work. We are again asking members who may have a spare half day or full day during the week, specifically the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, but also possibly Friday morning pending what work is able to be completed earlier in the week, to come on down and spend some time helping around the course.
Please register your intent to attend using the volunteer bookings tab or the links below (each day has a brief description of the planned tasks for the day). Day starts meeting at the course shed at 7.30am. Lunch will be provided from approximately 12pm each day:
Monday Volunteers
Tuesday Volunteers
Thursday Volunteers
Please give some time back to the club if you have it available. It is a good feeling to play on the course after renovations, knowing that you were a part of what went on.
If you have any queries about how you might be able to help please speak with either Nigel Williams (Director of Course), Matt Espie (GM) or Dane McBride (Course Super).
