Club Professional & Staff

Matthew Sturmer – PGA Head Professional

Matthew has been working in the Western Australian golf industry for over two decades, with 10 of those years at the Perth Golf Academy. Before this he was at Burswood GC and then took up a managerial role at Gosnells Golf Club. These experiences encouraged a passion for the game, and in 2007 Matt accepted a Teaching Professional role. Since then, he has successfully developed coaching programs for all levels of golfers, played a pivotal role in establishing junior and ladies golf improvement programs and regularly coaches the Golf Australia MYGOLF Program. Matt was a Finalist in 2010 and 2011 for the WAPGA ‘Junior Golf Leader of the Year’ and is a Certified PGA Professional. He enjoys the diversity of teaching different types of golfers and strives to promote the game in a fun, safe and low pressure environment.

Lesson Prices:

30 Minute – $65

1 Hour – $120

Luke Gerrard – PGA Teaching Professional

Luke is a Fully Qualified PGA Professional with a passion for the game of golf and helping people become the best players they can be and get the most enjoyment possible out of the game.

Luke had good results as an amateur including a Paxton win at the Rockingham Golf Club, Luke realized his potential as a golfer and took on a PGA traineeship with the intention of becoming a Golf Coach.

Luke passed with ease through the playing aspect of the traineeship with a number of wins and achieved top 30 amongst all trainees in Australia.

Luke is friendly, relaxed and has a great knowledge of the game of golf, the golf swing and loves to share this with passionate golfers of all levels.
